Beautiful Georgian Child Miniature Portrait Hand Painted Porcelain Brooch. Here is a really beautiful rare georgian painted portrait miniature child brooch. The brooch is oval measuring nearly two & a quarter inches by two & a half inches, & is all set in a yellow gold pinchbeck mount, which is pierced & ornate.

Inset is the most lovely attractive painted portrait miniature of an attractive young girl gathering roses in a delightful country scene in good very detail which is painted on enamel & it is enclosed to the back. The brooch comes complete with a pin and Cclasp working well lthough the pin mount is a bit crude, but works fine & there is solder marks to the back of the mount, see pics and it dates very clearly to the georgian period and is in very good condition for its age, & looks to be continental in origin & with age there maybe marks & wear to the enamel as you would expect and although nothing that detracts its just mentioned for total accuracy, see pics. However this really is a beautiful georgian miniature in good origional complete condition, that is so eyecatching & a attractive antique example of these, that are getting hard to find and so colllectable Box not included.
