Rare And Beautiful Vintage Hand Painted French Chapel Wall Hangings

RARE AND BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE HAND PAINTED FRENCH CHAPEL WALL HANGINGS. I have tried in vain to find a wall in my house to hang these lovely old chapel hangings on as an art work, but they are so long (11 foot). I think they really need to find a home in a chapel or church conversion.

They are hand painted with roses and have French Script which loosely translates as. "Blessed are the pure hearts because they will see God". Let come to me the little children. The kingdom of heaven is for those who are like them.

They are Linen and trimmed with braid In good vintage condition and believed to be Circa 19th century. Odd marks on back and a watermark that does not detract from these 100 year + items that have survived so well. See photographs for best description and will gladly answer questions. Would love them to find a good home where they can be appreciated again.

Measurements are 11 foot long x 2 foot wide (317cm long x 61cm wide). They have rods through to hang.
