This jaw-droppingly beautiful and wonderfully proportioned Penelope Penzo pitcher is from the 2013 Mashona line. The piece is individually hand-painted and unique, signed by the artist on the base, and has the Penzo stamp. Penzo pottery is hand-made in Zimbabwe. It is highly sought after and legendary for its creativity, vibrancy and stunning design. The Mashona line is Penzo's most popular and depicts scenes of African wildlife in vibrant, stunning colours.

These pieces bring the vivid light, scenery and wildlife of Africa to life. This incredible piece features elephants, leopard, zebras, oryx, giraffe and a rarely featured sable antelope (female) against a richly coloured backdrop of trees, grass, boulders and water under a blazing sun - the colours are vibrant and evocative.

The pitcher is a large one, 22 cm high, 19 cm in diameter at it's widest point (excluding the handle), with base of 11.5 cm, and it can hold just over 2.5 litres. The pitcher is a wonderful round-bellied shape, with a nicely curved but solid handle. It is ideal for holding any drinks in large amounts. It comes from a pet-free and smoke-free home. Each Penzo piece is microwave and dishwasher friendly.
